Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: September 2, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and your purchase of food, catering, and related services from Lickin' My Chicken & Pullin' My Pork, operated by Licken My Chicken & Pullin My Pork LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Our Business
We are a family-owned barbecue restaurant, food truck, and catering service located at 1707 Ave of Mid-America, Effingham, Illinois. We are open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 AM until sold out.
Menu Availability and Pricing
Our barbecue is smoked fresh daily in limited quantities. Menu items are available while supplies last and may sell out before closing. Certain items, including turkey, ribs, green beans, and corn, may be reserved for catering or offered only when available.
Prices are listed on our menu and are subject to change without notice. Applicable Illinois and local sales taxes are added at checkout. If an item you ordered is unavailable, we will contact you to substitute it or refund that portion of your order.
Orders and Payment
Orders may be placed in person at our counter, by phone, or through third-party delivery platforms. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the total amount of your order, including tax and any applicable fees.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Orders placed through DoorDash or other third-party platforms are subject to that platform's own terms, pricing, fees, and delivery policies. Pricing on third-party platforms may differ from our in-store pricing.
Food Safety and Allergens
Our food is prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, nuts, and shellfish. We cannot guarantee that any item is free from cross contact with allergens. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, tell us before ordering and consider the risk before eating.
Barbecue is served hot. Please use care when handling.
Catering Terms
Advance notice. We require a minimum of seven (7) days advance notice for catering orders so our team can plan and source your event properly. Requests inside seven days may be accepted at our discretion depending on availability.
Booking and deposit. A catering order is confirmed only when we have accepted it in writing and received your deposit of 25% of the estimated total. The balance is due on or before the day of the event unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Final headcount. Final guest count and menu selections must be confirmed at least seventy-two (72) hours before your event. Charges are based on the confirmed count, not on the number of guests who attend.
Cancellation. Cancellations are handled as follows:
Seven (7) or more days before the event: your deposit is refunded in full.
Three (3) to six (6) days before the event: the deposit is retained to cover sourcing and scheduling costs.
Less than forty-eight (48) hours before the event: the full quoted amount is due, because food has already been purchased and smoking has begun.
Rescheduling. We will make reasonable efforts to move your event to a new date. A reschedule requested with seven or more days notice does not forfeit your deposit. Rescheduling inside seven days is treated as a cancellation and a new booking.
Changes by us. In rare cases including equipment failure, supply shortage, severe weather, or other circumstances outside our control, we may need to substitute menu items or cancel. If we cancel, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid. That refund is our entire responsibility to you in that situation.
Equipment and setup. Serving equipment, chafing dishes, and similar items we provide remain our property and must be returned in usable condition. You are responsible for damage or loss beyond normal use.
Leftovers. Food left at your event after service is your responsibility. We are not liable for food that is held, stored, or served improperly after we hand it over.
Refunds
If something is wrong with your order, contact us the same day and we will make it right through a replacement, a credit, or a refund at our discretion. Because we serve fresh prepared food, we generally cannot accept returns.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear.
For orders placed through third-party delivery platforms, refund requests must be made through that platform.
Rewards Program
Rewards membership is free and open to individuals. Members receive 10% off their first meal after joining and one free sandwich during their birthday month each year.
Program terms:
Rewards have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred, or combined with other offers unless we say otherwise.
One membership per person. Duplicate or fraudulent accounts may be closed.
Birthday rewards are valid during your birthday month and must be redeemed in person.
We may change, suspend, or end the program or any reward at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.
We may close an account for abuse of the program.

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in or serving Effingham County, Illinois, and you agree to that venue.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The effective date above reflects the current version. Orders already confirmed are governed by the terms in effect when they were confirmed.
